What are Pitch Books?
Many commercial shows sell T-shirts or posters. Shows like singing groups or plays offer programs also shirts and posters of their show or CDs and this is where pitch books would come in for Mentalist and Magicians.
A book on a subject similar to what you performed in your show is a natural for people to want to take away. It may or may not be from you show or act, but in many cases it is related to Mentalism, Magic or allied arts. On this page are listed several books that will be available from us, for your use.
The books will come to you on a CD or Floppy Disk, as you prefer, in Adobe PDF locked format. They will have your name as author and will not have a price list anywhere on the book, unless you ask for it. The exception is the book, Magic as a Hobby. Therefore you may price them as you see fit for the venue you are working. You might even wish to give them away as gifts or premiums . This leaves it up to you.
All printers such as Kinko © , Office Max © , and Office Depot © and Staples will be able to read the disks and can print from them in any quantity you wish. Also you may have them bound in a manor and style of your chose. Stapled, comb bound or as a expensive book. You can even print them on your computer and use a three (3)-hole punch to bind them. You have total flexibility.
Years ago Bob Nelson sold these kinds of books, he printed them in predetermined quantities. Even if you didn’t want one hundred copies that was what you received and paid for. And he bound them as he saw fit. Buying our books on CD, Floppy Disk or over the e-mail as an e-book, ensures that you will get exactly the amount and style that fits your needs. You pay Carlyle only once and they are yours. If the disk is lost or damage, a replacement disk can be made for you at a lower cost, as we save disk in a file outside our computer.
When I first sold books many a show I took in more money in book sales than from my performance. So check the titles and be sure to check for new titles as they are added and become available to this catalog.
When ordering please enclose a Back Story or Bio, though we have a stock bio if you don't have one. It's shows you as not only a performer, but an Author. Also contact information such as address, phone number and or E-Mail address will be needed. If you desire a Invoice for the sale via E-Book, please indicate your wish and a copy will be sent via e-mail.

This book tells the reader the history, use

how to make a pendulum.

The second half of the book has lessons on the step-by-step use of the Crystal Ball, a symbol of mind reading and seership that has been around down through the ages. Here, as
the title
implies, is a pitch book that
will appeal to more of
your customers than, maybe, any other? It is a widely known that
the Horoscope section of the daily newspaper is one of the most
read sections in any paper. I know of no paper without one for
their readers to enjoy. I believe that editors would sooner leave out
the ‘comic’ section than the Horoscope. Knowing

These sheets are easy to use and use a standard system that can be mastered in a minute or so. The sheets will stand alone and need no other book or instructions except those that come with the sheet. Like other sheets offered on the page, they are a full reading when offered as such. They do complement the pitch book Simply Palmistry also offered here. As I state in their instructions, if a client asks about a given finger or line, refer them to Your Book. However that is just a method of getting a double sale.

Through
this is
not
a book, it belongs here because they are great back
of the house or room sales items. A friend and mentalist from the
west coast also uses them over the phone. From his web site, he has
visitors, mostly ladies; send him a picture, full body (clothed I
may add) so he can see their body type. These sheets are
designed, in part, on body type reading system, which includes the
lucky number system used by Robert Nelson. With these sheets you
will be able to do readings as a “stand alone” date or as an “after the
show” bit to make extra money. Now they are
available on CD or Floppy in Adobe PDF as the books are. They
allow you to do readings in three (3) different ways. The first is
based on a study published in a monograph by Dr. Fred Crouter
called “The Inner Secrets of Cold Reading Experts”. While an
understanding of his book is helpful, it is by no means necessary
to the use of these sheets. The instructions that come with these
sheets tells all you need to know and a crib is on the sheet it’s self
though the customer or subject will never suspect it. Yet it is
big and in full sight and is not a problem for you to see as you do the
reading. The second is the method used by Nelson years ago in his now
out-of-print “Solar Charts”. Instructions for this method are
also included. The third method is open to you. That is, if you do
readings, you can just check off what you see for the person
based on your own system. They are a great way to make extra money at
Psychic Fairs, a Reading Room or Psychic House Parties and, of
course, after your shows as back of the room sale
items.
